Nabil Issa
Nabil Issa is a Professional Electrical Engineer. He has worked in the electricity distribution industry for over 33 years, holding several senior technical and managerial positions. Nabil was instrumental in developing numerous innovative solutions for the power industry, including the rollout of trenchless power cable installation techniques. He represented the power industry on a number of industry forums which included Standards Australia panels and the council of Australasian Society for Trenchless Technology. Under his leadership as Chairperson, the Streets Opening Coordination Council (SOCC) developed the concept of a cloud-based GIS system inter-agency works coordination system to promote more effective collaboration between road authorities and utilities.
Nabil is currently the CEO of SOCC, and his vision is to make works coordination as an integral part of the lifecycle of planned projects.
