Rastin Zarrin is the Product Development Lead at Fedasen, where he focuses on the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions for urban infrastructure. With a strong background in artificial intelligence, IoT, 3D modelling, and computer vision, Rastin has contributed to developing innovative tools that help cities improve safety, accessibility, and proactive asset management.
He has played a key role in advancing intelligent systems that integrate vehicle, e-bike, and e-scooter mounted imaging technologies with automated defect detection and cloud-based data processing. His work translates advanced research into practical tools that support smarter decision-making for councils and transport agencies.
At the IPWEA International Public Works Conference 2025, Rastin will present a case study on the implementation of FAST (Footpath and Verge Asset Smart Technology).
