Russell Lamattina
Russell Lamattina is the Senior Development Engineer for Mildura Rural City Council, with five years of experience in the local government sector and 12 years across multiple industries focusing on project management, drafting and design. Russell's current work focusses on the development of strategic plans for the management of public infrastructure for the Mildura municipality, spanning roads, footpaths, traffic management and stormwater infrastructure. He is currently authoring the development of a new holistic stormwater strategy for the whole region, leading a broad cross-functional team across Council and other local organisations, aiming to deliver a safe and functional stormwater system that takes on a wholistic approach to water management in a low-rainfall climate. Russell was successful in obtaining one of the IPWEA Future of Asset Management Scholarships for 2025.
