Paul Brown
Paul is an experienced company director, entrepreneur and clean energy advocate.
Paul is founder and Managing Director of Ironbark Sustainability and experienced non-executive director. Paul has over 20 years of experience in helping organisations reduce the impacts of climate change.
Ironbark has directly supported the delivery of projects that will save over 3 million tonnes of greenhouse emissions and $500m for local communities. Ironbark recently prepared greenhouse emissions inventories for all of Australia’s more than 500 local governments and has led the installation of over half a million sustainable streetlights.
Since the mid-1990s Paul has been a part of establishing sustainability organisations including the Sustainable Living Festival, the Australian Wind Energy Association (now the Clean Energy Council) and the Australian Student Environment Network.
Paul has broad and deep experience with delivering real action at the cutting edge of community and technology change. Paul is currently managing around $100m of energy efficiency projects, a growing company and a passion for building a clean and sustainable community.
