Nabin Pradhan is a true believer that continuous improvement in Asset Management practices and adaptation of digital technology are the best ways forward to resolve the modern paradox of increasing users' expectations while decreasing funding for road maintenance. In 2019, he was recognized as a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand for his devotion and contribution to the asset management discipline. Currently, Nabin manages the Asset Management Services team at Downer Australia Transport and Infrastructure, Maintenance and ITS business. During his career of more than 30 years, he has managed multi-disciplinary teams and major asset management projects to develop and implement asset management and information systems, enabling data-driven decision-making for improving efficiency and sustainability. Downer road network asset management system developed under his guidance was the first in Australasia to achieve International Asset Management System ISO 55001 certification for public road management.
