Henk M de Graaf
Henk de Graaf is the managing director of the Industrial Automation Group based in Perth, Western Australia.
After having lived in Sydney for 5 years and operating his own company there, Henk moved to Perth, Western Australia in 1986 and set up Industrial Automation. As a qualified electrical contractor and practicing Electrical Engineer his involvement has ranged from ships automation to recycling plant automation and everything in between.
Today, the company he runs, employs 15 personnel in the Joondalup head office with an overseas team of software developers complementing the engineering team.
His current focus is on the provision of communication and automation systems as part of the company’s involvement in the Smart Cities approach by local governments. This includes the creation of the Public Open Space Control System under the Smarter Control banner which brings together everything that can be monitored and controlled within a public open space or facility.
In addition, away from the SmartCity approach, he is heavily involved in the management of grain storage through the company’s Aeration Manager product.
