Specialising in pavement design and engineering, he is highly skilled in the design, assessment, and construction of heavy-duty pavements and roads, with a particular focus on recycling granular materials through advanced stabilisation processes.
As National Technical & Innovation Manager at Hiway, Damien leads technical direction, innovation initiatives, and specialised project solutions across Australia. His work is driven by a commitment to sustainable infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge techniques to optimise pavement performance and extend asset life.
Prior to joining Hiway, Damien served as Technical Manager for Fulton Hogan South Australia, where he oversaw quality systems, provided technical expertise on specifications, and managed laboratories supporting asphalt production in South Australia and the Northern Territory
